At BLF, we are committed to regenerative design - spaces that continue to grow, give back to the community, and live on long after our work is complete. Gardens are a vital part of any cultural experience: naturally contemplative, multi-sensory, and full of life, they enrich both the body and the imagination.
At Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, we collaborated with Ostara to create a garden inspired by the collection, designed as a true community space, co-created with local participants.
In 2026, BLF partnered with Ostara to design a garden for the Chelsea Flower Show. This garden transforms a compact urban space into a richly layered sensory sanctuary, alive with sound, scent, texture, and colour. After the show, it will be relocated to Chailey Heritage Foundation, where it will support the wellbeing of children with complex physical disabilities.
