We have long-standing links with Nottingham Trent University (Darren studied there as a postgraduate student), and particularly with the MA programmes that explore heritage, museums and memory. Over the years, we have supported many students through study seminars and collaborative projects, project site visits, mentoring days, and sessions with the wider BL team, as well as mentoring individuals through NTU’s formal mentoring programmes.
We have also been fortunate to host many interns through our programmes, many of whom have gone on to some key roles in heritage, museums and the cultural sector across a wide range of settings. Some interns have also progressed into long-term roles within Barker Langham. We continue to work closely with course leaders and regularly contribute to the programmes through guest lectures, internships and teaching.
